This was my first time in bhimtal and I’m very pleased & thankful that I happen to choose this property! It was like a home away from home ! I have never experienced such warmth from a host..( Neha) 🥰 When I first spoke to Neha , it left like I’m talking to a friend she made sure that our stay was completely up to the mark just the way we wanted … I was in Magpie Retreat for 3 night with my family , all the staff was so good ! Hospitality was just 100% Not to miss the view … There was definitely a magic , we could experience, magic happing around in the weather! Exceptionally beautiful 😍 Food was just the way we wanted … The chef was awesome tooo 🙂 Everyone room had a personal touch with the interior , it was like every room is a resort in its own self ! A must visit ! Thanks

It’s a worth taking experience .. the property has outstanding views with something for all ages .. the host is very helpful we travelled with 10 adults plus 2 kids of 2 and 4 years of age and each of us have great words for Neha and her staff .. the lake is just down the hill.. beautiful well maintained property with a very classy touch .. must stay in bhimtal and recommend for a week to enjoy everything around as well.. everything is close by .. have fun The road to the property is steep but the host and the staff will contact you much before your arrival even help you drive uphill if you want .. but really that’s the fun .. do take this trip 😊

This is definitely a great place for a group of close friends or colleagues to hang out, enjoy the nature and fresh air! Don't forget the bring a wireless speaker for some music!

Thanks a lot Neha for the lovely stay. The house is beautiful and the location is fantastic. Good view of the lake from all side, great gardens. Best of all, very warm and friendly staff. Caretaker, cook, etc all go over board to make the guests feel comfortable. Special thanks to the team for celebrating our son's 2nd bday in style. We were thrilled to see the room and garden decorated with balloons and he cake awaiting to be cut. Overall, lively stay and highly recommended.

Place with beautiful view of bhimtal lake and mountain valleys. The place is perfect to spend time with family and friends, we all were together but also had our privacy. It is a paradise for bird watchers, waking up on birds chirping was incredible. Food was such a delite that we over ate every meal 😁 Some of us stayed in whole time to relax and enjoy the great view, food and service. Few of us went for para-gliding, zorbing, boating, hiking and site seeing which were all close by. Care taker Mohit arranged everything for our convience and took good care of us. This is a great place to relax and also conviently located for adventures and site seeing. The location is a bit far from the main road, not at a walking distance but thats the price you pay for such a beautiful view. Cabs were arranged very easily for us. They provide a cook with buffet system for lunch and dinner. This is a much better option than cooking ourselves as cook was very flexible and evrything tasted purely home made. We did have 2 kitchenettes in 2 rooms provided and also access to main kitchen. A great stay for us and surely look forward to come back.

A beautiful, beautiful home.. I haven't chosen a B&B for a holiday, so I didn’t know what to expect before reaching. What I saw took my breath away. This is the kind of cottage, overlooking Bimtal Tal, that you might dream of retiring to every day. Mrs.& Mr. Parmar were very warm and treated us like an extended family than guest. They were a very amiable couple and played a very important role in making us feel at home and taking care of each and every request we put forward to them. The caretaker and the support staff were also good and quiet efficiency. Magpie is one of the most beautiful looking bird of this region and the cottage is the most fantastic and beautiful as the bird. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a lot of detailing and personal touch. The rooms are labour of love with beautiful photograph of bird. I couldn't get enough of looking at the all the time. The room are decorated with much of heart & life's experience of the owner. The room are comfortable & inviting, it’s so well fitted with everything that you could possibly need or think of, and it makes you wonder if you're actually on holiday or at home! The cottage is forested all around and you can soak in the lake view all through the day just sitting in the front verandah…. And look up to see the luscious greenery of the mountains. The trees around are full of birds. When Neha realised that we were interested in bird-watching, she gave us tips on the best places to keep tabs on. It is exactly the kind of holiday home you would want to stay. Thanks Neha and her parents for sharing such a special place with us . We will be back soon ...
